While hiking along the Hillsborough River I came across this Spider Oak spreading into the Temple Terrace swampland. Climbing the leaning oversized trunk felt like a good idea until I was attacked by a wave of red ants claiming the tree as their home. I remain thankful for this shot since this was the last tree I climbed and if red ants have something to say about it, this may be the last one I'll ever climb.
