While I'm certainly not a bird expert, I am a bird enthusiast. I would love to say I shot this Macaw out in the Floridian wilderness however, I didn't. I found this enchanting parrot at Tampa's Busch Gardens while out on a play date with my buddy Stephan. Perched on a tree branch within a pleasantly arranged habitat, Freddy and his feathery pals pose for thousands of people each year. Turns out my subject was fourteen years old at the time and still unwilling to speak "no matter the treat" which landed him at this open air exhibit. From the looks of it I don't think he minds the generous servings of nuts and dried fruit or the human attention too much.
